DIANE WILK, AIA, NCARB (Registered Architect, State of California, Colorado)


Diane Wilk is a native Californian who brings with her both academic and professional experience. She worked for a number of prestigious firms prior to joining Michael Burch Architects.  She was formerly the Director of Graduate Programs in Architecture & Urban Design at University of Colorado where, as a tenured faculty member, she taught design, drawing and architectural history.  Diane also served as a visiting critic at Yale, Columbia, Harvard, Syracuse University and the University of California, Berkeley.  In addition to teaching, Diane has had her work published in several Rizzoli books and has also published numerous books and articles on architectural and landscape history.  She is currently working on a book on the architecture of Lake Arrowhead, California.  Diane is an accomplished cellist, paints and enjoys participating in sports; especially sailing, skiing and golf. Michael and Diane are also the proud parents of triplets.
